Presenting Britain Through Our Lens
Presenting Britain Through Our Lens
London Chinese Guide | In-Depth UK Travel & Cultural Customization | Original Travel Photography
My name is Mao Weiyang. I am a private Mandarin-speaking guide based in London, offering personalised cultural journeys across the UK and Ireland for individuals, families, and students.
Having lived and worked in the UK for over a decade, I focus on travel as a way of understanding history, culture, and everyday life. Rather than visiting places in isolation, I help travellers see Britain as a living system — shaped by belief, education, power, landscape, and long-term continuity.
I work mainly with families, students, and culturally curious travellers who value depth, context, and a well-considered pace. Whether the journey is centred on private education visits, immersive cultural routes, or a travel experience combined with documentary-style photography, each itinerary is designed around personal interests, time, and expectations — never as a fixed package.
In planning each journey, I pay close attention to meaning and connection: why a place matters, how it relates to Britain’s past and present, and how it fits into the wider experience. Routes remain flexible, schedules are adaptable, and the aim is always the same — to create a journey that is both efficient and genuinely enriching.
Based in the UK with long-term local experience across England, Scotland, Wales, and Ireland

Every journey begins with a simple conversation to understand your interests, time frame, and expectations, before shaping a route that truly suits you.
